About

Christa,

Blue Diamond Hospitality Owner

Christa has worked as a consultant in the liquor hospitality industry for over 16 years. Past Vice President and Manager of Licensing for Rising Tide Consultants, a liquor licensing consulting firm in British Columbia, she has now owned and operated her own consulting firm, for over 11 years.

Christa’s experience includes the successful consultation on the development of the District Wine Village in Oliver BC, where 14 manufacturing sites (12 wineries, a brewery and distillery) came together around a shared gathering, outdoor entertainment space – one of the first of its kind in BC and Canada.   Other projects on the go include but are not limited to all aspects of licensing and permitting with both provincial and local governments.

Her nurtured relationships and networking continue today with local municipalities and the provincial government throughout BC and across Canada.  Christa’s work with the majority of her clients continues to be ongoing.

Her work also includes the licensing of multiple special event permits such as the Grey Goose Petanque Bowling Days 2023, the Playa Patron Beach Days 2022 and the Safe & Sound Music Fest at Swangard Stadium.

In addition to continued work with the hospitality industry throughout the province, Christa also sits as a director on the Hospitality Vancouver Association Board.  Hospitality Vancouver Association was formed over a decade ago to advocate for and protect the business interests of its members. There are multiple initiatives that the group is currently working on.  The HVA continues to liaise with the City of Vancouver, the VPD, and other various stakeholders throughout Vancouver. For further information on the HVA, please visit: hospitalityvancouver.ca.

Christa continues to foster strong relationships with both local and provincial government officials, and owners and operators of various establishments, as she takes client applications for all types of liquor licences through the formal process from infancy to completion.

Christa has worked as a consultant in the liquor hospitality industry for over 15 years. Past Vice President and Manager of Licensing for Rising Tide Consultants, a liquor licensing consulting firm in British Columbia, she has now owned and operated her own consulting firm, for over 10 years.

Her work also includes the licensing of multiple special event permits such as the Playa Patron Event in August of 2022 and the Safe & Sound Music Fest at Swangard Stadium.
